As you may be aware, Dr. Eugene Lipov has decided to pursue other opportunities in academic medicine. As a result, he has entrusted Dr. Scott McDaniel with Pain Specialists of Greater Chicago to take over the care of his valued patients. Pain Specialists of Greater Chicago is a comprehensive pain practice that was founded nearly two decades ago and now has office locations throughout the Greater Chicagoland area. The practice consists of three Interventional Pain Physicians, three Advanced Practice Nurses, and one Physician Assistant as well as a vast array of support staff to provide patients with efficient and timely access to quality care.
Dr. McDaniel completed an Anesthesiology residency at University of Chicago and a Multidisciplinary Pain Medicine fellowship at Northwestern Memorial Hospital where he served as chief fellow. He has extensive training in all dimensions of comprehensive pain care, including interventional modalities and medication management. His goal with all patients is to develop a treatment plan that addresses all dimensions of a patient’s pain experience, with particular focus on trying to address the source of the pain through minimally invasive techniques.
Pain Specialists of Greater Chicago is passionate about improving patient access to quality, fellowship-trained pain management physicians. We are pleased to be able to offer patients several convenient locations. Dr. McDaniel sees new and follow-up patients at offices in Burr Ridge, Orland Park, and now in Dr. Lipov’s former office in Hoffman Estates. He performs procedures at the Hinsdale Surgical Center in Hinsdale, Palos Surgical Center in Palos Heights, Oak Brook Surgical Center in Oak Brook, and the Ashton Center for Day Surgery in Hoffman Estates.
